Greetings! Spring is here! It’s been great to see Expert featured on some wonderful blog posts, Substacks, and book clubs these last few weeks. A brief roundup of recent highlights:
I was thrilled to discover that the Goodreads editors selected The Expert of Subtle Revisions as one of the best science fiction books of the last five years!
“Expanding out a bit from our monthly Editors’ Picks column, this collection draws from the collective reading enthusiasm of our longtime editorial team. To wit: hand-selected recommendations, sorted by genre, of books published in the past five years. Straightforward. Earnest. Occasionally weird because, well, we’re us.”
I also discovered Expert listed over at thegreatestbooks.org among the greatest fiction, historical, metaphysical-visionary science fiction books since 1960! Check out the full list here.
The fabulous Oldster substack included The Expert of Subtle Revisions on its first Oldster Bookshelf, and the novel was also recommended by staff at the Austin public library. I was also very happy to stumble across Ann Hood’s nice response to Expert on Ruhlman’s Newsletter (along with one of my favorite foods, homemade bagels).
Finally, thanks to the Broadway Bookclub for selecting Expert as the April read! I love the book reveal video:
That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by! Read on to learn more about The Expert of Subtle Revisions, what folks are saying about the novel, and other news.
